Strong Results in Writing

One of the most pleasing highlights from this year’s results was our students’ achievement in
Writing.

In 2026, 83% of Year 3 students and 80% of Year 5 students
achieved within the Strong or Exceeding proficiency bands in Writing.

This is a wonderful achievement and reflects the consistent focus our teachers place on explicit
teaching, quality feedback and the deliberate development of confident, capable writers across
all year levels.

Outstanding Year 5 Numeracy Achievement

We are also incredibly proud of our Year 5 Numeracy results, with an exceptional
94% of students achieving within the Strong or Exceeding proficiency band.

This outstanding result speaks to the hard work and commitment of our students, as well as the
dedication of our teachers in building strong mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills
and confidence in Numeracy.

A Proud Moment for Our Whole Community

These results are something our entire community can celebrate. They reflect the hard work of our
students, the dedication of our staff and the strong partnership between school and families in
supporting every child to grow, learn and thrive.

We thank our parents and carers for the important role you play in encouraging learning at home
and walking alongside us in your child’s education.

Together, we continue to build confident, capable learners who are known, supported and encouraged
to achieve their very best.

Congratulations to our students, staff and families on this wonderful achievement for the whole OLR community.
