Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing the right primary school is an important decision. We’ve answered some of the most common questions families ask about enrolment at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School, Wyoming.

Applying for Enrolment

Can I apply to more than one CSBB school?

Yes. Families considering more than one Catholic Schools Broken Bay school can submit an enquiry through the online platform and nominate schools in order of preference. However, an enquiry is simply an expression of interest and does not constitute an enrolment application.

To formally apply for enrolment, families must complete an enrolment application and submit all required supporting documents. This allows the school to assess the application and begin the enrolment process.

Who can submit the enrolment application?

Where there are two parents, it is expected that both parents will be party to the enrolment application. The person starting the application can invite the second parent to be included. All parties must accept the invitation to be included in the application.

How will I be notified of the outcome of my application?

All parties to the application will receive an email notifying them of the outcome.

Accepting an Offer

Who can accept the offer of enrolment?

All parties to the application must accept the offer of enrolment and sign the Enrolment Agreement in order to accept a place at the school.

To sign the contract, you must be a party to the original application. All parties to the agreement are jointly and severally responsible for fees. Billing arrangements can be amended by application once the Enrolment Agreement has been signed and the student is enrolled at the school.

Kindergarten Enrolment

When should I apply for Kindergarten?

Families are encouraged to submit an enrolment application as early as possible. Kindergarten enrolments typically open more than a year before students commence school. We recommend attending an Open Day or school tour to learn more about our community and enrolment process.

What does the Kindergarten transition program involve?

Our Kindergarten transition program is designed to help children feel confident, comfortable and excited about starting school. Throughout the year, children have opportunities to become familiar with the school environment, meet teachers and future classmates, and participate in engaging learning experiences before their first day.

In 2026, transition sessions will be held

Wednesday 26 August: 9am – 10am
Wednesday 2 September: 9am – 10am
Wednesday 9 September: 9am – 10am
Wednesday 4 November: 9am – 10am
Wednesday 11 November: 9am – 10am
