Starting Kindergarten is an exciting milestone for children and families. At Our Lady of the Rosary, Wyoming, we are here to support a smooth, happy and confident transition to big school.

Before and After School Care
Our Lady of the Rosary, Wyoming offers convenient on-site Before and After School Care to support families before and after regular school hours.
Outside School Hours Care, also known as OSHC, provides a safe, supportive and engaging environment for children. The program is located on-site, making the transition between school and care simple and seamless for families.
- Before School Care: 6:30am to 8:30am
- After School Care: 2:30pm to 6:30pm
- Booking options: permanent and casual bookings available
- Additional care: school holiday care is also available
Families can use the dedicated booking app to select Before School Care or After School Care sessions that suit their needs.
School Social Media Accounts
Families love seeing what their children have been learning and experiencing at school. Our OLR Wyoming social media channels are a wonderful way to stay connected with school life, celebrate student learning and keep up to date with community events.

- Instagram: Follow our Instagram account to see school life through photos, stories and student moments.
- Kindergarten Facebook Group: Enrolled Kindergarten families will also have access to a private group with information, reminders and tips to support the transition to school.
Please note that the private Kindergarten Facebook group is only available to parents and carers of enrolled students.

School Drop-Off and Pick-Up
The school day at OLR Wyoming begins with supervision from 8:30am. Students may arrive from this time, hang up their bags and enjoy play before morning assembly at 8:45am.
- Morning supervision begins: 8:30am

- School finishes: 2:50pm
Families who require care before 8:30am are encouraged to make use of our OSHC Before School Care program.
At the end of the school day, families may use the Kiss n’ Ride area or come into the school grounds and wait at the gates for their children. Staff will support Kindergarten students as they learn the pick-up routine and grow in confidence.

The transition to Kindergarten is a special time for every child. At OLR Wyoming, we work in partnership with families to help children feel safe, confident, connected and ready to learn.
