Principal’s Welcome

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School, Wyoming. Our school was established in 1978 by the Sisters of St Joseph, whose legacy continues to shape our strong sense of faith, service and commitment to education. We honour this foundation while confidently responding to the needs of learners in today’s world.
At Our Lady of the Rosary, we are guided by our school motto, Alive and Aware — alive to the challenges and opportunities of an ever-changing world, and aware of the God-given uniqueness of each individual. This belief is at the heart of all we do. We strive to create a learning environment where children are known, valued and challenged, and where high expectations are matched with care, support and purpose.
As a Catholic school within the Our Lady of the Rosary Parish community, our faith is lived daily through relationships, learning and service. Gospel values underpin our approach to teaching and learning, guiding students to grow not only academically, but also socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Our dedicated staff are committed to evidence-informed teaching practices that foster curiosity, resilience and a genuine love of learning. Together with our families, we work in partnership to support each child’s growth and development. Parents and carers are the first educators of their children, and your engagement plays a vital role in the success of our school community.
Choosing a school is an important decision. We invite you to experience the warmth, faith and learning culture of Our Lady of the Rosary and discover how, together, we nurture confident learners prepared for the future.
