Our Lady of the Rosary is more than a school, it’s a community. As a new family to the school, we were overwhelmed by the welcoming warmth that was shown by all staff and existing students. The “Kindy-Yana” program is so extensive in transiting new kindergarten students to school, that all pupils feel very familiar and secure when they do start.
The principal and teaching staff are outstanding. A real sense of belonging is established as many teachers know students outside their year group. The principal and deputy make an obvious point to know all students and their families- greeting individuals as they arrive and depart.
Consistently high expectations are modelled by all. From the “ Yr 5 Buddies” that support the kindergarten students on various “firsts”, to the quality teaching that engages and motivates all, Our Lady of the Rosary is a school where any parent would want to send their child.

We are a new family at OLR this year and are beyond impressed with everything this beautiful school has given to our sons first year of schooling!
The transition from preschool to ‘big school’ was seamless. The kindy Yana sessions allowed our child to actually be in the school environment, as well as taking the time to educate us and the new parents about what to expect and how to prepare for having a child in primary school.
The teachers and community are incredibly welcoming and we couldn’t recommend a better school on the central coast! We actually live out of the area, but drive the extra distance knowing our child absolutely loves OLR!

OLR Wyoming is a school I’m proud to say my son attends. The teachers and Principle are welcoming and supportive of each child’s academic abilities and needs. They respect and understand family and cultural diversity and I’ve found the school community feels more like a family. I cannot recommend this school highly enough.

Highly recommend this school! I didn’t grow up here and was nervous on which schools to enroll in but my husband and I are very happy with our decision.
OLR Wyoming has such a beautiful community of parents & staff that make you and your child feel welcome.
Also, the principal Mr Cumming is very hands on and easy to speak to whether its a quick hello or question you might have.
